Configure insurance prices

Set the four insurance prices and publish the Insurance Company panel in Discord.

Before you begin

• You need owner or administrator access to your Discord server in the CoreRP dashboard.
• Configure the CoreRP economy and bank. Insurance uses the currency saved in the Economy module.
• To run /admin panel, you need the Discord Manage Messages permission and access to CoreRP administrator commands.
• In the panel channel, CoreRP needs View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links.

Configure the prices

1. Open the CoreRP dashboard, select your Discord server, then open Module settings → Other.

2. Under Prices → Insurance, enter a nonnegative price for each option:

   • Health insurance → Health
   • Life insurance → Life
   • Accident insurance → Accident
   • Property insurance → Property

   CoreRP stores prices to two decimal places. A blank or nonnumeric value saves as 0, and a negative value is clamped to 0. The currency comes from the Economy module and cannot be changed in this section.

3. Select Save, reload the page, and confirm that all four fields still show the saved values.

Publish the Insurance Company panel

1. In Discord, run /admin panel panel:Insurance Company channel:[optional].

   The panel option is required and must be Insurance Company. The channel option is optional; select a channel to publish there, or omit it to publish where you run the command.

Each insurance button immediately attempts to buy that insurance. When checking the panel, do not select a button unless you intend to make the purchase.

1. Confirm that CoreRP publishes Insurance with the description Here you can buy different types of insurance and all four buttons. The example values are:

   • Health — 150$
   • Life — 200$
   • Accident — 90$
   • Property — 250$

   Your panel should show your own four saved prices and Economy currency, which may differ from these examples.

After changing a price or the Economy currency, save the settings and publish the panel again. If a new panel appears, keep the newest one and remove the older copy so members use the current prices.

Troubleshooting

• If a value becomes 0, enter a valid nonnegative number and save again. Blank, nonnumeric, and negative values cannot persist as positive prices.
• If CoreRP cannot publish the panel, confirm your administrator-command access and CoreRP's View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links permissions in the destination.
