Seize a citizen's vehicle temporarily
Hide a citizen's vehicle from CoreRP garage and registration workflows for a fixed number of minutes.
Before you begin
- You need a Police commands or City Police commands grant through Manage perms in Emergency Services & Phone. The corresponding alert role alone is not sufficient.
- The target needs an active citizen with a visible, non-seized vehicle.
/garage vehicle seizemust be enabled. Use it in the configured channel.- Use the vehicle's unique exact plate rather than a model shared by multiple vehicles.
The command has no manual release action. Confirm the intended vehicle and duration before sending it.
Seize the vehicle
Run:
/garage vehicle seize target:<member> plate:<text> duration:<minutes>
targetselects the vehicle owner.plateaccepts an exact plate or exact model without autocomplete. Matching ignores capitalization.durationis required and must be at least1minute.
- Run
/police search garage target:<member>and confirm the intended vehicle is visible. The target may also run/garage show. - Run the command with the vehicle's unique exact plate and the intended duration.
- The private result shows Confiscation duration and Confiscated until.
CoreRP hides the vehicle from its garage, registration, transfer, and police-search workflows until the displayed end time. Any registration status can be seized.
When the seizure ends
The vehicle remains hidden until Confiscated until. After that time, it reappears the next time the target opens /garage show or an officer runs /police search garage target:<member>. Its previous status and details remain unchanged.
Troubleshooting
- No visible vehicles or an exact-match failure — confirm the target's active character and use the current unique plate. A vehicle already under seizure is hidden from the command.
- A model matches multiple vehicles — retry only with a unique exact plate; model matching selects the first match.
- A cooldown response — wait for the displayed cooldown before retrying.
Next steps
