Delete a citizen's CoreRP email address

Permanently remove one exact email address belonging to a currently active CoreRP character.

Before you begin

  • You need Discord's Administrator permission. The configured CoreRP Moderator role is not required.
  • The /email command, configured channel or role access, and configured command cooldown must allow you.
  • The administrator does not need their own CoreRP character, phone item, or email address.
  • The exact address must belong to a currently active character in the same Discord server.
  • Confirm the exact address with the owner or in Users data.

/email delete removes the address immediately without a preview, member selector, confirmation, or undo. It does not notify the owner. Confirm the exact address and owner before sending the command.

Delete the address

Run:

/email delete email:<exact address>

The email option is required and has no autocomplete. Enter the exact address, such as jordan.events@example.com, and confirm who owns it before sending.

CoreRP privately returns Email address was successfully deleted. and records the action in Core log when configured.

If the character has two addresses, the command removes only the address you supplied.

Check the account list

  1. Ask the owner to run /email list on the same active character, or reopen that citizen's Contacts in Users data.
  2. Confirm that the deleted address is absent and any other addresses remain listed.
  3. If you deleted the wrong address, recreate it through Create and list your CoreRP email accounts.

Troubleshooting

  • You do not have permission to use this command! — the caller needs Discord Administrator, not only Manage Messages or the CoreRP Moderator role.
  • Email address was not found. — confirm the spelling, server, and that the owner has the intended character active.
  • A setup, disabled-command, access, or cooldown response — finish setup, enable /email, use an allowed channel or role, or wait for the configured cooldown.
