Delete or restore a citizen's data
Use the administrator CK command to remove an active CoreRP character or restore the member's latest archived character.
Before you begin
- You need Discord Manage Messages, the configured CoreRP Moderator role from core channel and role settings, and access to
/adminin the channel where you run the command. - The target needs an active character for deletion. Restore requires a prior CK archive for that member on the same Discord server.
- Review the target's current characters in Users data before proceeding.
Deletion starts immediately. Confirm the selected member before sending the command.
Restoring is also destructive: CoreRP removes every other current character belonging to that Discord member before rebuilding the latest archived character. Never use restore on a member who has multiple characters you need to keep.
Delete the active character
Run:
/admin ck user:<member> restore:false
user is required. restore is optional and defaults to false, so omitting it also deletes.
CoreRP archives the active character, then removes that character's identity, bank accounts, inventory, contact details, vehicles, invoices, penalties, health effects, reputation, and social accounts. Member warnings are not removed. The public Character Kill result says the member was deleted and names the administrator. CoreRP also attempts a direct message and a Core log entry.
Deletion starts a fixed 30-second cooldown for that administrator in the server.
Restore the latest archive
Run:
/admin ck user:<member> restore:true
CoreRP restores the newest archive for that member and server. The restore replaces the member's current characters with the archived character, then publicly returns Data Restored.
Check the result
After a restore, ask the member to select the restored character and confirm its important identity, account, inventory, contact, vehicle, and penalty information. If important data is missing, do not run the command again; contact CoreRP support.
Troubleshooting
- You do not have permission to use this command! — confirm both Discord Manage Messages and the configured CoreRP Moderator role.
- The target user does not have a citizen ID created. — deletion requires the target's currently active character.
- You can use this command again in ... — wait for the fixed deletion cooldown. Restore does not use that dedicated cooldown, but normal
/adminaccess rules still apply. - A configured
/admincooldown response — wait for the displayed cooldown before retrying Delete or Restore.
