Understand alert roles, feature permissions, and dashboard access
CoreRP uses three different kinds of access. Choose the one that matches what you want a person or role to do.
Alert roles
An alert role is mentioned when a module sends a Discord notification. Examples include Police alert role, Firefighters alert role, and Restaurants notification role.
Choose an alert role when people need to receive a notification. Selecting it does not automatically grant permission to use the related feature.
Feature permissions
Supported modules show Manage perms beside a feature. Feature permissions decide which citizens can use that job, service, or command group.
You can grant access directly to a citizen or attach a permission group based on manual citizens, a Discord role, or everyone.
Dashboard access
Dashboard access lets a trusted administrator open the server's configuration and citizen data on the CoreRP website. It is separate from Discord roles and feature permissions.
Use Request dashboard access for another administrator when another person needs to manage the server through the website.
