Use and defuse explosive items

Activate a configured Bomb in Discord and safely stop its countdown with a Bomb defuse item.

Before you begin

View the active character's inventory and confirm the activator holds one C4 bomb configured in the Bomb category through item configuration.
At least one member must hold a Bomb Defusal Kit, configured as Bomb defuse. The kit is reusable and is not consumed.
/item use must be enabled. The activator must use it in the server's allowed channel and wait for any configured cooldown.
CoreRP needs View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links in the channel.

Activating a Bomb consumes one item. Use a suitable channel and arrange for a member with a defusal kit to defuse it immediately.

Run /item use item:<bomb> and select C4 bomb from autocomplete.
Send the command. CoreRP privately confirms The bomb has been activated. and publishes Bomb activated in the current channel.
The public message shows the explosion time and a Defuse button. The default countdown is 60 seconds unless the Bomb has a configured duration.

If nobody defuses it before the countdown ends, CoreRP changes the message to Bomb exploded! and disables the button.

Before the countdown ends, a member holding any positive Bomb defuse item selects Defuse.
CoreRP immediately changes the message to Defusing in progress and disables the button.
After the configured defuse duration, CoreRP cancels the explosion timer and changes the message to Bomb defused. The default defuse duration is 5 seconds.

The defuse duration is configured by the server. Defuse requires completed setup, an enabled /item command, and the required channel.

The Bomb remains consumed after activation. The Bomb defuse item is reusable and remains in the defuser's inventory.

You do not have an item named ... in your inventory. — confirm the active character and select a current Bomb autocomplete result.
A defuser is told they need a defuse tool — confirm that their active character holds a positive item currently categorized as Bomb defuse.
The Bomb is missing, already exploded, already defused, or another defuse is in progress — use the latest public message.
No public countdown appears — check the current channel for the Bomb message and ask an administrator to confirm CoreRP's channel permissions.
A setup, disabled-command, required-channel, or cooldown response — finish setup, enable /item use, use the required channel, or wait for the configured cooldown.
