Resolve CoreRP command access

Identify which kind of access a CoreRP command needs, then use the matching administrator workflow.

Check the command location

  1. Run the command inside the intended Discord server, not in a direct message.
  2. Use the channel configured for that command.
  3. Confirm that CoreRP can view the channel, send messages, and use the interaction features required by the command.

Check member access

  • Some commands use a configured Discord role. Ask an administrator which role and channel are allowed.
  • Business, phone, restaurant, ER:LC job, police, garage, and item features can use citizen feature permissions. An administrator can give the active citizen access or assign a permission group.
  • /admin requires the Discord permission shown for that command. Many /admin actions also require the configured CoreRP moderator role.

Check other requirements

  • Finish the server's initial CoreRP setup.
  • Use the CoreRP bot that matches the language selected in Basic Settings.
  • If CoreRP says This command is currently disabled., ask the server administrator or CoreRP support whether that command should be available.
  • Wait for a displayed cooldown before trying the command again.
  • For an ER:LC in-game or distance requirement, follow Require ER:LC presence and proximity for commands.

After the administrator updates access, run the command again with the active citizen that received the permission.
